We’re quite overwhelmed by the support that we have received over the past few days since we broke the news of the Council’s intention to close the pool for swimming from 2015. I’m currently sat here working on the final stages of our hugely successful ‘Pool of Memories’ project and listening to all of the memories that people have shared with us. The building is so integral to the lives of so many people – there’s a lot at stake here. I’m sure that councillors don’t grasp this.
The committee are meeting tonight at 7:30pm in the Tea Room a the Baths. Whilst the public will be welcome at this it is likely that we will be organising a bigger campaign meeting at a larger venue in the near future. We will keep you posted!
